Sultan Qaboos extends the garden.

While you can't see them in this photo, there are anti-aircraft guns mounted on the walls.

A tender is out for an extension to the wall that surrounds the royal palace in Muscat, Oman. The extension will be 6 kms long, 8 metres tall (6 metres above ground, 2 metres below), 600mm thick concrete and must not have any horizontal joints that could be used to scale it. Oh yes, and it must include an anti-tank ditch.
