First Christmas Tree 2007

I've spotted the first Chrissy tree of the season at PlugIns at BurJuman. Also heard the first Christmas musak of 2007 in La Sensa also in BurJuman - a sort of funky Gloria Gaynor-ish rendering of the Bing Crosby song "Merry Christmas to You".

    Scary.

    During the season, Emirates planes play Christmas carols over their PA systems as passengers board and disembark. It's horrible.

    We boarded a flight in March 2005 and they were still playing them! I guess that the crew switch off and don't hear them anymore.

    We're not allowed a Christmas tree. Apparently it's too messy. Are you guys going to have one this year?
